NTPC Barauni has been conferred the prestigious GOLDEN PEACOCK ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT AWARD-2024 in the power generation category by the Institute of Directors (IOD). Established in 1990, the Institute of Directors (IOD), is a national association of Corporate Directors, instrumental in shaping a cadre of business leaders equipped to navigate the complexities of economic scenario.

The award was presented on 27th June 2024, during a grand function in Bangalore. On behalf of NTPC Barauni, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, AGM (EMG and Ash Utilisation), received the award from former honourable Chief Justice of India, Mr. Justice U. U. Lalit.
